Matthew Zed joined Asia-Pacific ASA in March 2009 as a coastal engineer with expertise in environmental modelling, fundamental fluid mechanics and coastal processes. Matthew has over three years experience with a number of numerical wave and hydrodynamic models complimented with a high proficiency in Matlab programming. After graduating with first class honours in Environmental Engineering and Commerce at the University of Western Australia in 2007, Matthew continued to work there as a research associate studying the numerical modelling of tropical cyclones on the north-west shelf of Australia. Matthew's practical experience was extended by work for a number of Perth based engineering consultancies and as a graduate coastal engineer in Canada.
